Song of the Scarlet Macaw Scarf

$48.00

A scarlet macaw tumbles through the branches and comes to rest in Elleryn’s antlers, where he begins to sing. His song is far from beautiful, yet it reaches a part of her that has been silent for years.

Inspired by this encounter in The Dreaming Garden, the scarf captures the moment the macaw gives Elleryn back her voice, framed in gold and bordered with blossoms from the Garden itself.

Measuring 36” × 36”, it’s made from satin charmeuse, a 100% polyester fabric with a smooth, low-lustre finish and a soft hand and fluid drape reminiscent of silk. Printed and sewn by hand in Montreal, it features vivid inks, with the design appearing at approximately half strength on the reverse.

Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and iron on a synthetic setting.

Part of The Dreaming Garden, an illustrated folktale brought to life through original watercolor, ink, and collage paintings.
